I love the Real Estate business! I get to introduce the area to newcomers or share it with those who already know and love it as I do. Real Estate allows me to get out and explore and always be on the go. I am enthusiastic in what the Adirondacks have to offer, and I use my experience to effectively find you a home or market the home you are selling. I am always available on my personal cell phone and email 7 days a week- all hours of the day to give the best service possible to my clients. My Real Estate Experience/Accomplishments:
I have been selling real estate full time for 6 years. During those 6 years I have worked closely alongside some of the best in the business. Coming from a “mom & pop” style agency rather than a large corporate franchise, my broker held my hand during the learning process to mold me into the agent she would want in her office representing her name. I began my career based on honesty, accountability, and true fair dealing- all things EVERY agent should present to a client. I run my office on the same accords.
In 2018, I proudly received “BEST REAL ESTATE AGENT” for Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties! If you’re not familiar with the Post Star’s annual “Reader’s Choice Awards”, it is a regional paper that allows local businesses/ professionals to be nominated and then voted in many categories each year. I was thrilled to be nominated amongst 50 other excellent nominated top agents in the area, and going on to win 1st place was surreal.
I have taken my real estate education to the next level to provide my clients with extensive knowledge. I have obtained the following designations/certifications: RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), SRS (Seller’s Representative Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), and I’m currently wrapping up certification in PSA (Pricing Strategy Adviser). These designations are awarded and emphasize understanding and mastery of skills that carry success through a real estate transaction.
Selling ADK, the Brokerage:
In 2020 I took the leap to go out on my own and open “Selling ADK”, the office being located conveniently right in Lake George Village. My intentions for the company are to be a go to for locals purchasing or selling, vacation home buyers, first time home buyers, and everything in between. I will work with buyers in finding the best for them while giving them a low pressure, positive experience in the biggest purchase(s) of their life! I will work with sellers in getting their home promptly on the market and communicate extensively through the process! I will work 7 days/week alongside my clients throughout the entire home buying/selling process! As the company grows I intend to bring on only the most competent agents that share my enthusiasm and expertise of the Adirondack and surrounding regions. My office, Selling ADK, is located right on the “main strip” in Lake George Village- our office gets a TON of walk by traffic with this great location! We are able to use our store front as another outlet for great advertising to vacationers visiting the Adirondacks
I see this agency succeeding amongst others in our community with the help of the information I have gathered through both my own experience and listening to the experiences of others. Rather than attempting to re-invent the wheel (if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!), I am merely going to tighten the lug-nuts, if you will, on the buying/selling process after paying attention to buyers’/sellers’ feedback (both positive and negative) throughout their processes with other agencies. I have taken this information and turned it into a business plan, essentially.
My life outside of Real Estate:
Real Estate is my full time (over time!) job, however, I also proudly co-own a mobile bar company called ADK Traveling Bar which caters to the new age outdoor/barn/big tent weddings and events. I also co-own a Dance and Fitness Center at the Aviation Mall in Queensbury called The Body Barre where we have both children and adult classes in all genres of dance (we even started an “adult dance team” where over 20 local women have joined!). I love being a part of and contributing to local commerce, and being able to know and love so many members of our community through my companies! I spend the rest of my free-time enjoying all four Adirondack seasons of Upstate New York. I’m a 46-er (which means I climbed all 46 High Peaks in the Adirondack Region), and I consider myself extremely lucky to ski and snowboard all over New York and Vermont, snowmobile and ATV right from my backyard, and wakeboard, slalom ski, or paddle on the lakes and rivers that surround us. On a day off you can usually find me in my woodshop building furniture (side hustle), or maybe sipping a good glass of red on my boat on Brant Lake or Lake George. I spend this time with my fiancé, my goofy happy dog Ruby, my parents, a beautiful circle of close life-long friends, my local extended family, and my loving in-laws.
